To anyone who is grieving ...
... I recommend this book. It's called, The Children Who Lived: Using Harry Potter and Other Fictional Characters to Help Grieving Children and Adolescents. It's helped me with dealing with the loss of my gammy. I had checked it out from the library here at school, and then rechecked it, but I was so busy that last month or so semester with formal, finals, etc. plus I was trying very hard to ignore my feelings after my grandmother passed away, and I never ended up reading it. I recently checked it out again, and copied the pages so I could do some of the activities. I found it sorta helpful, in the sense that when it caused me to think of my loved one, it wasn't evoking sad thoughts, and it was making me focus on the positive aspects of my life with my grandmother. There are lots of fun activities in this book. For example, you can choose what Hogwarts house your loved one would be in, and choose their animagus and patronus and such. Then you explain why you chose what you did, and it makes you think about what you loved most about that person, and although it's sometimes sad to think about, it also makes you appreciate your time with them more. These activities will evoke happy memories about the person, and help you adjust to the transition to life without seeing them everyday. I say that instead of "life without them" because as Sirius Black once told Harry, "The ones who love us never truly leave us." So, I think that's about enough for tonight. I am in the middle of accounting homework which seems just a bit too easy, which makes me worry.
I don't really know how many people actually read this, but feel free to add comments or whatever. I'd love to get feedback from people. :-)

Daniel Radcliffe has some awesome taste in music...
So, before I came back to school from winter holiday, I was flipping through the channels at home and I caught a glimpse of Daniel Radcliffe on Fuse. I just saw the very end of it, so I looked through the guide and set a reminder for when it next aired, which was the following day at 2 pm. However, I had turned the TV off and taken a nap at about that time, so I missed it again!! Then, they reran it at 2 am that Saturday, but I had fallen asleep so I missed it for a third time!!! So, I finally found it online and thought I'd share it with you. Enjoy!!
so sorry
I am so sorry I let this blog go for a long time. I had a really rough semester. First and foremost, my amazing maternal grandmother got very ill and passed away. It was really rough on me. Someone who has been a part of my daily life since I was a baby was taken away from me and my family, and I was so distraught all semester long. I still have trouble dealing with it, 3 months later. Michelle Williams describes it best: "Grief is like a river. Every day you're at a different place." Some days it's rough, others I can deal. But I will always miss her ...

Sorry!
I've been so busy with school that I have had NO time to post anything new. I promise when I have some free time, I will MAJORLY update it. In the meantime, here's a funny interview.
